If you have a question about your child and wonder if something is normal, ask. It is through these types of questions I have found a child who had an overactive adrenal gland which required prompt treatment. Your observations are important.
Watching a child play, walk and interact with others allow health professionals to evaluate and assess a child for abnormal findings. Walking with a slight limp could be a shorter leg. If this is corrected when they are young while growing fast, it can be completely fixed. How they interact with others can alert health professionals to language or developmental delays. A referral to the right specialist can help the child quickly catch up on any delay.
